Terms of use

1. Purpose

KnockDor helps applicants find postings, assess their fit, tailor their CV and cover letter, track applications and prepare interviews. The service is currently free and in beta: it may change, be interrupted or contain errors.

2. Account

You must be at least 16. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the accuracy of what you enter.

3. Artificial intelligence

Scores, summaries, tailored CVs, letters, interview questions and answers are produced by AI models and may contain mistakes. You alone are responsible for what you send to an employer: review and check every document. KnockDor guarantees no outcome (interview, job).

The questionnaire chat is with an AI, not a person.

KnockDor is not a recruitment system: it is built for applicants, is not offered to employers and makes no decision about you.

4. Job postings

Postings come from companies' public career pages or from text you paste. KnockDor is neither an employer nor an intermediary and does not guarantee that postings are accurate or still open.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful content, to get around its technical limits, to scrape it automatically or to harm others.

6. Your data

How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy. You can export your data and delete your account at any time in Settings, Account and data.

7. Free access, trial and your own key

During the beta a quota of AI use is offered. Beyond it you can add your own API key or keep adding postings by hand. If a paid plan is ever offered, it will come with separate terms of sale (withdrawal right, easy cancellation).

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, KnockDor is provided "as is" and is not liable for decisions made on the basis of its results.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory rights you have as an EU consumer are not affected.
